Nerd Glasses

You have probably seen a lot of see through glasses lately.  Very Fashionable. Channel your inner Stever Urkle or possibly your inner  '80 rap Persona as RUN DMC  did. Either way they are super cool to wear in my next post I will show you how I have fashioned them.

These are a Becky's Closet Product. You TOO can have a pair.

AK-47

I love to mix girlie pieces with unexpected urban pops!
What a great combination, the glitter of the vest mixed with a Bow Headband offset by the AK-47.
You can find the necklace at This great store here

This is a going out outfit, so boys better not play.
Although, I have found that the necklace is a great icebreaker. Wherever I wear it I meet new people. Guys can not help but say something about it, which sometimes turns into great conversations.
Try it and see what happens, might be just want you need to find that Mr.RightNow.

( Still from Movie )
If I could live in a movie, Harlem Nights.  would be in the top five. What is not to love about the clothes, (FEATHERS) the sparkle and the mix of all things feminine. These were Women.  I would have loved to play Dominique La Rue. First off What a name, but I just fell in love with her wardrobe!! PLUS this is one funny movie cracks me up every time. Good Girl Gone BAD

This was my entry for Sole Socitey Mood Board Contest . Although I didnt win it was still fun to create and see what other people created as well !

The First Step

Today I took the First Step.

I committed to something that I wanted to do for a long time. A Commitment to myself, to stop watching and start doing! (whew) With the assurance from my friends, I begin my journey on 6/27/2011 a date to remember for sure!  I have had a long love with fashion and am pleased to finally take the first step and putting my love into something more tangible then a dream.

My take on fashion is to wear what make you happy. I love fun bright colors but also play with the seductiveness of black. I do not run from prints and mix and match like nobody’s business. I also love to find new ways to wear or update clothes. Hopefully you too will be pleased and enjoy my venture as I blog my way through.
